Up here in Dehradun, specifically in the Mehuwala area, life moves at a different pace than what you see in the big cities. We are situated at 334 Harbanswala, and honestly, the air is just a bit cleaner here. Shri Shisupal Singh is usually around, making sure things are moving along as they should. It’s a bit of a trek to get to us if you aren't familiar with the local roads, but we like the quiet. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some old wooden tables and a few fans that hum quite loudly when it gets warm in the afternoons. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees come onto the roof and make a lot of noise, which can be a bit distracting when you’re trying to focus on paperwork. We deal with a lot of documents and logistics stuff, and it can get a bit repetitive, but we’ve got a good group of people here who don’t mind the routine. During the winter, we all end up wearing heavy sweaters and drinking way too many cups of tea just to stay warm. It’s a simple operation, really. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for years. It’s just a local business trying to keep things steady in this part of Uttaranchal. We hope to stay here for a long time.
