A B Engineering Works

Down on Talawade Road in Andheri West, that's where you'll find A B Engineering Works. We are at number 70. It’s a noisy place with the machines running most of the day. We’ve got lathes and drills and all the usual stuff you’d expect in a workshop like this. It’s not the cleanest environment, there’s usually some oil on the floor and metal shavings everywhere, but that’s how engineering goes. We take on all sorts of jobs, some small, some bigger. People bring in parts that need fixing or something they need made from scratch. Andheri West is always moving fast, and we try to keep pace. It’s mostly just us working through the pile of orders. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy at a machine right then. The sun gets hot in the afternoons and the shed can get stuffy, but we keep the fans going. We've been at this location for a good bit of time. Neighbors know the sound of our shop. We don’t spend money on ads or fancy logos. Our name, A B Engineering Works, is just painted on the front so people know it's us. It’s steady work. Sometimes we stay late to finish a piece for a customer who’s in a hurry. That’s just life on Talawade Road. We do the work, get it right, and move to the next thing tomorrow.
