Subh Traders

Subh Traders has been around for a while now here at No: 241 on M.G Road. If you know Pondicherry Bazaar, you know how busy it gets, especially near the intersection with Kosakadai Street. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready before the crowd hits. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized when there's so much traffic outside. People stop by while they’re doing their regular shopping in the market. We aren't a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure we have what people need when they walk in. Sometimes the weather is too hot, but the market stays active anyway. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. Some shops closed, others opened, but we stayed right here. It’s a simple setup we have. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. Mostly, we just talk to the regulars and help whoever comes through the door. Usually, one of us is around from early morning until late evening. Dealing with deliveries in these narrow streets is always a challenge. You have to time it right or the truck gets stuck. That’s just how life is in the Bazaar. We’ve gotten used to the noise and the pace of it all. It’s home for us, really. Just a local spot on a busy corner where we do our business every day without making a big fuss about it.
