Sri Mother Plastics

Sri Mother Plastics is located at No C-8 in the Pipdic Industrial Estate. We are on the 2nd Cross in Mettupalayam. If you know the industrial area, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the similar looking buildings, but we’ve been here long enough that people find us eventually. Our unit is basically a large shed where we keep the machines running. It gets quite hot in Mettupalayam, especially under a tin roof during the summer months, but we are used to it by now. We make different kinds of plastic items. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting bags of raw material and watching the molds carefully. We aren't a high-tech company with robots or fancy screens. It’s just us and some older machines that we have to maintain ourselves to keep them going. The industrial estate is a busy place with a lot of noise and dust, but it’s where we belong. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with everything, from cleaning to packing. There’s no boss who sits in a closed office all day. Everyone is out on the floor doing something. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. We just have a door that’s usually left open for the breeze. It’s a basic, hard-working setup. We produce what’s needed and we don't make a big deal about it. It’s just how we do things at Sri Mother Plastics every day of the week.
