Unity Public School And College

Unity Public School And College is situated in the Kareli area of Allahabad. It is a neighborhood that stays pretty active, and our building is right in the middle of it. We have the primary school kids and the older college students all sharing the same general space, though they have their own sections. The morning rush is always a bit of a scramble with the cycle rickshaws and parents dropping off their children at the gate. We have a set of stairs leading up to the different floors and corridors that get very loud during the lunch break. It is an older building, so it has that lived-in feel that comes with years of students passing through the halls. We do not have a massive playground, but there is enough room for the kids to stand for assembly. The office is usually stacked with files and registers because there is always some administrative task to finish. Our teachers come from different parts of Allahabad and they spend their day going from one classroom to another. We follow the standard curriculum and try to make sure the syllabus gets finished before the final exams start. It is not a polished corporate institution, just a local school where people from Kareli send their kids to get an education. Things can get a bit disorganized when it rains or during big city events, but we just manage it as it comes.
