Periwinkle Public School

Periwinkle Public School is right on Shah Hussain Street in Allah Nagar, at number 65. It’s a very local neighborhood school, located right in the middle of where people live and work. The street is narrow, so it can get a bit crowded when the kids are arriving or leaving for the day. We don’t have a massive campus with gates and guards; it’s more of a building that opens up right onto the life of the street. Inside, the rooms are a bit small, but we fit the benches in so everyone has a place to sit. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we try to keep the place looking decent despite the constant dust from the traffic outside. Our staff is mostly people from this same area, so they know the families well. You might hear the sound of a motorbike or someone calling out from the street while a teacher is explaining something, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We have a tiny area inside where kids can stand during their break, though most of them just chat in the hallways. It’s an honest, plain school for the people living in Allah Nagar. We don’t have any fancy labs or big sports fields, just the basic stuff you need to learn. It’s a hardworking place where we just take things one day at a time.
