Khelgaon Public School

Khelgaon Public School has been here on Khelgaon Road in Allahabad for a while now. If you live around here, you probably know the area well. It gets quite busy in the mornings when the buses are moving and parents are dropping off their kids. We are situated right in the Khelgaon area, which is a bit of a landmark itself. Most of us who work here live nearby too, so we see the same faces at the market or during the commute. The school building isn't fancy, but it does what it needs to do. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running, making sure the classrooms are ready and the playground isn't too dusty. Allahabad summers are no joke, so we mostly worry about keeping the fans going and the water coolers filled during those months. Winters are much nicer, and you’ll see everyone out in the sun during the breaks. It’s a regular school day most of the time. We have teachers who have been here for years, and they know most of the families by name. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us because we’re right here on the main road. It can get a bit loud with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids actually learn something before they head home. It's a lot of paperwork and basic routine, but it's what we do.
