G.D.Memorial Public School

We are set up inside the Krishna Coaching Institute building on Motilal Nehru Road. It’s right in the Allen Ganj area of Allahabad. It’s a bit of a busy spot because of the other coaching classes nearby. The school itself is quite simple. We have the usual classrooms and a small area for the kids. It’s not one of those massive schools with huge playgrounds. We make do with what we have. Every morning is the same routine with the kids arriving and the teachers getting ready. The building is older, so it has some character, though sometimes the walls need a fresh coat of paint. We don't really focus on being fancy. We just focus on the books and making sure the students are actually reading them. It can get quite hot in the summers, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. The staff here are mostly folks who live nearby. We know the families and they know us. It’s a bit like a small community inside the building. We don't have any big corporate rules. We just handle things as they come up. If a parent has a problem, they just come in and talk to us directly. It’s a plain, honest school for local kids to get their basic education done. We have some storage cabinets for the books and supplies in the back.
