Sigma Public School And Hostel

We’ve been running Sigma Public School and the hostel here in Ranavav for some time now. It sits right on the National Highway near Sanskar Tirth II. It's a busy spot but inside the gates things are usually focused on getting the kids through their lessons and making sure the ones staying in the hostel are fed and settled. Most days start pretty early. You’ll see the buses coming in and the hostel kids already up getting their breakfast. We don’t have fancy bells and whistles, just classrooms and rooms for sleeping that do the job. The teachers show up and get to work, and we try to keep the place tidy enough. Living at the hostel is a big part of it for many students who come from further away in the Porbandar area. There’s a lot of laundry, a lot of homework, and the usual noise you’d expect from a bunch of students living together. We try to make sure they follow a schedule so they actually get sleep. It’s a practical setup. Nothing too complicated about how we do things here. We just focus on the basics of schooling and providing a place for the students to stay while they learn. Sometimes the highway traffic is loud, but the kids are used to it by now. It’s just how things go here at our spot in Ranavav. We just keep at it day after day because it's what we know how to do.
