Shri Rameshwar Madhyamik School

Down in Madhavpur Ghed, things move at a slightly different pace. Shri Rameshwar Madhyamik School is where we spend our days. We are located in the Porbandar district, not too far from the coast. It is a modest school. We don't have huge budgets for shiny things. What we have is a group of teachers who show up every morning and students who come in from the nearby farms and houses. The wind often carries the smell of the sea. Our classrooms are plain, but they stay cool enough. We have a small library and some space for the kids to run around. It is not perfect, and sometimes the roof needs a bit of fixing after the monsoon, but we deal with it. We don't use much fancy language when we talk to parents. Most of them are hardworking people who just want their children to learn to read and write well. We see the kids playing in the dirt during the breaks and then coming back in with dusty shoes. That is just life here. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of the government requirements. It is a simple life at a simple school. We are proud to be here in Madhavpur Ghed, serving the people who live around us. There are no big secrets to how we run things. We just show up, open the doors, and start the lessons.
