People here in Amreli know the Lathi Road area pretty well because of the traffic and the hustle. Our spot is inside the Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Campus, so it stays a bit quieter once you get past the main gate. There are trees around the buildings which helps when the sun is hitting hard in the afternoon. Inside the Oxford School Of Science, it is mostly just a normal day-to-day routine. You hear the fans whirring in the classrooms and the sound of students moving chairs around. We spend a lot of time in the labs. There are beakers and test tubes that always need cleaning and the benches get a bit stained from the experiments. It’s not fancy, just a place where people come to learn about biology or chemistry. The corridors get a bit dusty because of the wind coming off the open grounds near the campus, but someone is usually sweeping it up. We have been here on Lathi Road for a while now. Most of the staff comes in early before the heat gets too bad. You see the yellow buses pulling in and then the whole place fills up with noise until the final bell rings. It’s just how things go here. We don’t have much to say other than we are just a regular part of the Amreli community. Students carry their heavy bags, talk about exams during lunch, and then head home back towards the main town.
