You can find us right on the Main Road in Chhaya, Porbandar. Being on the main road means there is always something going on outside our gates. It’s a secondary school where we teach in English, which keeps the students pretty busy with their vocabulary and grammar. The building itself is quite functional, with several floors of classrooms looking out over the street. We have the usual 360578 pin code for mail, but most people just drop by if they need something. The halls are often filled with the sound of students reciting their lessons or walking to the next class. We have a small assembly area where everyone gathers at the start of the day. It gets quite bright in the afternoons, so we have some heavy curtains in the rooms to keep the glare off the boards. The desks are arranged in neat rows, and we try to keep the noise from the traffic from being too distracting. We don't have a huge staff, but everyone knows what their job is. Lunchtime is usually a quick affair so everyone can get back to their books. It isn't a place for luxury; it’s a place for studying and finishing the curriculum on time. Most of our students live nearby in Chhaya and walk to school every day. We just keep the routine going year after year.
