Sheth Nanjibhai Damodar Ruparelia High School is in Madhavpur Ghed, which is a coastal area in the Porbandar district. It’s a long name for a school, but everyone here just knows it as the local high school. Madhavpur is a beautiful place near the sea, but life here is practical and focused on the land and the water. Our school building is old and has been affected by the salty air over the years. We don't have any fancy new facilities. It’s a place with character and a lot of memories for the people of Porbandar. We don't use any professional marketing speak because that’s not how we talk here. We are just a group of teachers and staff doing our best for the kids in Madhavpur Ghed. The school is a big part of the village life. When there are festivals or big events, everyone is involved. We don't have a big budget for extras, so we make do with what we have. It’s a simple life of teaching, grading papers, and watching the students grow up. The wind from the ocean blows through the hallways, and sometimes the sand gets everywhere. We just sweep it out and keep going. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s just a high school in a quiet corner of Gujarat where we do our work. We have been here for a long time and it shows.
