Maharani Shri Baluba Kanya Vidyalaya

Our school is right on M G Road in Porbandar. It’s a busy street, but Maharani Shri Baluba Kanya Vidyalaya has its own little space there. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and people going to the market. Inside, it is quieter, and you can hear the sound of lessons going on. Being near the coast, we sometimes get that salty air coming in through the windows. This is a school for girls, and we’ve been part of the Porbandar community for a long time. The building is older, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it somewhat cool. We don't have much in the way of modern luxury. Most of our days are spent in the classrooms or the small courtyard. We have a lot of history here, but we don’t talk about it much, we just focus on the daily tasks. Teachers here usually carry a lot of books and are always busy grading something. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in the hallways, but we make it work. We deal with the usual problems like leaky taps or noisy traffic from M G Road. It’s a very grounded place. We don't try to impress anyone with big speeches or fancy events. We try our best to keep everything running without too much fuss. We just open the doors, teach the girls, and go home at the end of the day. It’s a simple, honest school for the local families in the 360575 area.
