Heba Farmer Producer Company Limited

Out here in Mahadawa Bisalpur, things move a little slower than in the big cities. We are located at the house of Saidulrahman. It is a regular village spot in Pilibhit. Heba Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us who live and work around here. We spend most of our time out in the fields or sitting around talking about the weather and the prices of crops. The address 262201 is home for us. We do not have a glossy office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a wooden table and some chairs where we meet. Usually, there is some tea going around while we talk. We handle a lot of the local produce. The roads can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it tough for the tractors and trucks to move, but we manage somehow. It is important for us to stick together because farming alone is getting harder every year with costs going up. We look at the seeds, check the fertilizer, and try to find better ways to sell what we grow. People know where to find us if they need help with their harvest or if they want to join the group. It is just a practical way for us to survive and maybe do a bit better for our families. There is no big mystery to it, just farmers working with other farmers in Mahadawa.
