Dhankuna Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over here in Village Kaima, which is part of Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh. Most people know the area for the trees and the tigers, but we know it for the dirt and the crops. Our group is called Dhankuna Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Balveer Singh’s house, which is House Number 36 in Ward 10. It is a regular house in a regular village. We started this because doing everything alone was getting too difficult. Farming is what we do. It is what we have always done. We are not some big corporation with a fancy office in a city. We are just a bunch of neighbors. If you come looking for us, you will likely find us near the fields or sitting on the porch talking about the weather. The pincode here is 262305. We handle our own seeds and whatever we grow. It is hard work and the sun gets very hot in the summer. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, but that is just how it goes here. We don't have a big marketing team. We just have our hands and our tools. Being a farmer producer company means we can talk to buyers together. It makes things a little bit easier for the families in Kaima. We just want to keep the farms going for the next generation. That is why we are here at Balveer's place in Pilibhit. We don't have any big slogans.
