Eetgaon Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Village Intgawan, which is near Bisalpur in the Pilibhit district. Our address is C/O Dharmendra Kumar. We are out here in the rural parts of Uttar Pradesh, 262201. The company is basically just a collection of us local folks who grow things for a living. We did not want to be at the mercy of big buyers all the time, so we put our heads together and started this. Our office is right there in the village, nothing fancy at all. You will mostly find us talking about the sugar cane or the wheat, depending on the time of year. Pilibhit is a good place for farming, though it has its challenges like anywhere else. We do not use any of those big marketing words you see in the city. We just talk plain English and deal with things as they come. If a tractor breaks down or the rain does not come, we sit down and figure out what to do next. It is a very practical way of living. We have all known each other for years, so there is a lot of trust involved. We are not looking to become famous or anything like that. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the village stays strong. It is hard work, but it is what we know and what we do.
