Vikash Foot Wear

We are Vikash Foot Wear and we’ve been selling shoes here in Patna for quite a while. It’s a small shop and we have boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling. You can find almost anything for your feet here, from thin slippers to heavy leather boots. Bihar gets really hot in the summer, so we sell a lot of sandals during those months. The shop floor is always a bit dusty because of the wind and the street outside. We spend most of the day helping people try on different sizes and styles. Sometimes kids come in and run around while their parents are looking at prices. It’s a loud and lively place to work. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden in the back. If you need a specific color, we usually have to dig through the back room for ten minutes to find the right box. People around here know us as the place that doesn't overcomplicate things. We just sell footwear that lasts a decent amount of time. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving when the heat is bad. We see the same faces every few months when someone needs a new pair for work or school. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local market. There is always a lot of tea drinking and talking going on between customers.
