Ekta Foot Wear

This is Ekta Foot Wear, and we are situated right in the Mogalpura area of Patna City. Anyone who lives in this part of Patna knows how hectic the streets can be. Our shop is just one of many in the row, but we have been around long enough that people know where to find us. We do not have any big glass windows or flashy signs. It is mostly just piles of boxes and a few pairs of shoes sitting out front so people can see the styles. We sell everything from simple rubber slippers to more formal shoes for weddings. The floor is a little worn out because so many people have walked over it through the years. We usually have a small radio playing some music in the background to pass the time. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter and helping people find their size. We have seen a lot of changes in Mogalpura over the years, but people always need a new pair of shoes eventually. The dust in Bihar is quite something, so we spend a good amount of time wiping things down. It is a straightforward life for us. We start our day with a cup of tea and wait for the first customer. Most people around here do not want anything fancy, just something that works. We do not try to be anything special, just a local shop in the neighborhood.
