Aakash Foot Wear

You can find Aakash Foot Wear located right near the Lal Mandir in Mogalpura. It is a very easy landmark to find if you are walking through this part of Patna City. Because of the temple, there are always plenty of people moving around, so we stay pretty busy with foot traffic. Our shop is tucked away on the street, filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of footwear. We have stuff for men, women, and even the small kids. It gets very loud and crowded during the festival months, but that is just part of living and working in Patna. We keep the doors open all day long, and you can usually smell the rubber and leather as you walk by. We are not a big company or a chain. It is just a family-run business where I handle the customers and my son helps me keep track of the stock. We do not have much extra space, so we have to use a ladder to get the boxes from the high shelves. It is honest work. We do not make any big promises, we just sell shoes that are meant to be used. People trust us because they see us here every single day. We have been through many hot summers and rainy monsoons in this shop. Every morning we sweep the front step and get things ready for whoever walks in. It is just our way of doing things near the temple.
