Vidya Jyothi English Medium High School

You will find Vidya Jyothi English Medium High School over on Ram Nagri Road in the Ashiana Nagar area of Patna. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops and houses packed together. We have been working out of this location for quite a while now. The school isn't some fancy high-tech facility. It is just a series of rooms where we gather to teach. We don't use a lot of complicated jargon when we talk to parents. We just tell them how their kids are doing and what they need to work on. The building is functional, and we try our best to keep it clean, though with so many kids coming in and out, there’s always some dust or a stray piece of paper somewhere. We spend a lot of our time just managing the schedule and making sure the teachers have what they need for their classes. Ram Nagri Road can get quite congested during the morning rush, so we are used to the sounds of horns and engines. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more orderly. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules; we are just a local school trying to do a good job. We like the fact that we know most of the families by name. It makes the long days feel a bit more worthwhile when you see a familiar face at the gate.
