Kendriya Vidyalaya

Kendriya Vidyalaya is right there at 2, Bailey Road, in the Sheikhpura area of Patna. If you know Patna, you know Bailey Road is a main stretch, so we are right in the thick of things near 800014. It’s a government-style setup, so everything is very practical and functional. There aren't any fancy decorations or expensive rugs in the lobby. It’s mostly just concrete, desks, and a lot of students. We’ve been here for years, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it’s sturdy. The staff here just gets on with it. We don't have a marketing department or anyone writing polished speeches for us. We just open the gates in the morning and let the day begin. There’s a lot of coming and going because of our location on such a busy road. You hear the traffic from the classrooms sometimes. It’s just a normal part of life here in Sheikhpura. We have a big mix of people coming through these doors. We don't try to sound like anything special; we’re just a school doing its job. The playground is well-used, and the hallways are always full of life. If you’re looking for us, just head down Bailey Road. It’s an honest place where the work is the main focus every day. No frills, just a regular school day for the kids in Patna.
