Usha Martin World School

Usha Martin World School is located at Sohgi More, right on the Patna Gaya Road. Being near the Sampatchak Market and Nh-83 means it’s never really quiet around here. There’s always the sound of trucks and buses passing by on the highway. We’re in the P.S Gopalpur area, and for many of us, the school is a landmark in this part of town. The front gate stays shut most of the day to keep the noise out, but you can still feel the vibration of the heavy traffic. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a decent-sized building and the rooms are quite large. The floors are made of stone and stay cool even when it’s boiling outside. We spend a lot of time making sure the kids stay hydrated and focused on their books. The market nearby is where we get most of our daily supplies, so you’ll often see our staff heading that way during lunch. It’s an honest, working environment. We don’t have fancy manicured lawns, but we have enough space for the kids to run around during their breaks. The local bus stop is just a short walk away, which is handy for the teachers who don’t drive. It’s just a regular school day here, filled with the usual lessons and the occasional power cut that we’ve all learned to deal with. It might not be fancy, but we do the work that needs doing every single day.
