Our place, Silkhouse Premier Hotels, is based out of Vijay Kumar Singh’s house on Bailey Road. It’s right near RPS More, which is always a busy spot with plenty of people moving around. My family has been here for a long time, and the building, DC18, has been our base since 2005. Late T.P. Singh was my father, and we’ve kept things going in his name. We don't really do the corporate thing with fancy offices. Instead, we just work out of the house and manage the day-to-day tasks ourselves. Managing a hotel around here means dealing with a lot of traffic outside, but it’s a good spot for travelers. We spend most of our mornings checking the rooms and talking to the staff about what needs doing. It’s not a huge operation, just a local business trying to provide a decent place to stay. You won't find any polished marketing here, just us working hard. We know the neighbors and the local shops around RPS More quite well. Over the years, we’ve watched Bailey Road change from a quiet stretch into the main artery of Patna. It’s been interesting to see all the new flyovers and buildings go up while we just keep doing our work. If you are coming down Bailey Road, you can’t really miss the turn for RPS. We are just regular people keeping the business running as best as we can without any fuss or fancy talk.
