Bhaiya Jee Line Hotel

We are located right on NH-30 in the Pahari area of Patna. If you're driving past the Kiran Automobile shop, you’ll see us right on the opposite side. Being a line hotel, we see a lot of people traveling long distances. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or families heading out of the city. It’s a dusty spot because of all the construction and traffic on the highway, but we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or posh furniture. It’s just benches and wooden tables, the way a real line hotel should be. The tea is always hot and the food is made in big pots. We don't have a printed menu that changes; we just make what’s available and fresh. Sometimes the music from the trucks outside is louder than our own conversations. We stay open late because people on the road need a place to stop at all hours. It's a simple operation run by a few of us. We've been here in Pahari for years and have seen the highway grow busier every month. It’s not a place for a fancy dinner, but it’s good for a break when you've been driving for hours. We just focus on getting the food out quickly so people can get back on their way. It’s hard work but we’re used to it. The washroom is basic and we try to keep the water tank full for everyone.
