Hotel Kautilya

Hotel Kautilya is located at R Block on Beer Chand Patel Path in Patna. We are very close to the railway station, which is why we get so many people stopping in at odd hours of the night. The street outside is always full of movement, with people heading to the government offices or the station. Our building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name out front. Inside, it's mostly just us. We spend a lot of time sitting at the wooden desk in the lobby, waiting for the next guest to arrive. The fans are almost always running because Patna gets so hot in the summer months. We don't have a big team of people in uniforms. It’s usually just a couple of us who have been working here for years. We handle everything from the check-ins to making sure the towels are dry. The rooms are simple, with basic beds and a window that might look out onto the street or the building next door. It’s a bit noisy because of the location, but that’s just life in this part of Patna. Most people who stay here are looking for a place that’s easy to get to from the train. We just try to keep things decent and honest for them. We also have a small spot where you can leave your bags if you have some time before your train leaves.
