Hotel Maurya Patna

We've been at this spot in A.G. Colony for a while now. Hotel Maurya Patna isn't some fancy high-rise, just a place where we try to keep things clean and quiet for folks coming through. People find us at A/394 fairly easily since we’re right on the road. It gets busy around here during the day. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the fans or someone checking in at the desk. We don't have a huge staff. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the rooms are ready and the lights are working. Bihar 800025 is where we call home. We see all kinds of people, from workers staying a few nights to families visiting relatives nearby. My cousin helped with the paperwork when we first set things up. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a bulb flickers, but we fix it as soon as someone tells us. It’s a lot of work keeping a building like this going in Patna. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. Just basic beds and a roof over your head is what we provide. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. We stay open pretty late. If you’re looking for A.G. Colony, you just head down the main stretch and you’ll see our sign. Our neighbors are mostly families who have lived here for generations.
