Modern Sainik School

We've been here on Frazer Road for a while now. It's a busy part of Patna, as anyone who lives here knows. Most mornings start early because that’s just how things go at a school like this. We focus on the kids getting through their lessons and staying disciplined. It's not fancy, just a regular building where we try to get the work done. The classrooms have seen a lot of students come and go over the years. Some parents come in worried about exams, and we just tell them to let the kids study. We keep the gates open early so the buses can get in without too much trouble with the city traffic. It's dusty outside sometimes, but we keep the inside tidy enough for classes. We don't have a huge playground, but we make use of the space we have. Teachers here live nearby or commute from other parts of Patna, so we all know the local area pretty well. It’s a lot of routine. Bell rings, classes start, lunch break, and then everyone heads home. We don't do much advertising because people usually find us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. Sometimes the fans are loud during the summer, but that’s just Patna heat for you. We just keep showing up every day to help the kids learn what they need for the next grade. It's a simple setup really.
