Infant Jesus Academy

We are located out in Khusrupur, near Patna. The academy sits right in the Khurupur area. It’s a simple school building where we teach the local kids from around the village and nearby spots. We have a few classrooms and a bit of space outside for them to play during the breaks. The road outside can get a bit dusty during the dry season. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment, but we have the basics like blackboards and benches. Most of the teachers live nearby too. It's a quiet enough place most of the time except when the kids are out for recess. We have been part of the Khusrupur community for some time now. People know us as the local school. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. The kids walk here or get dropped off by their parents. We have a small office where we keep the records and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows for light. It is just a regular school life here. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many students it is a constant job. The walls have some student drawings pinned up. It feels like home to many of the kids who spend their day here. We just focus on getting through the lessons every day and making sure things stay running for the children.
