Our office is up on the fifth floor of Saket Tower, right on S.P. Verma Road. Even though the office is in a building, the real work happens where we actually make the fly ash bricks. We decided to get into fly ash because it’s a bit different from the old clay style. It’s a bit cleaner, though "clean" is a relative term when you’re talking about bricks. The S.P. Verma Road area is always packed with cars and people, so getting to the office can be a bit of a trek sometimes. We aren't trying to be some huge company; we’re just a small group trying to provide an alternative for builders in the Phulwari area. Our desk is usually covered in papers and brick samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone with sites and truck drivers. Things don’t always go according to plan—sometimes a machine breaks or a delivery gets stuck in traffic. That’s just construction for you. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing talk. We just tell people what the bricks are made of and how much they cost. It’s a straightforward business. Most of our clients are local contractors who want something reliable and easy to work with. We’re just regular folks working in the city, trying to make sure the building projects around here have the supplies they need for their walls.
