Sonu Bricks

Sonu Bricks is based in Maner Nagar. We are easy to find because we are right near the Bank of India. It’s a convenient spot for people living around here. Running a brick kiln in a place like this keeps us pretty busy. We have been here for a good amount of time, just doing our thing. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the earth we use and making sure the firing process goes okay. It’s not always perfect. Sometimes the color varies or a batch takes longer than we thought. That’s just the nature of working with mud and fire. People from around the neighborhood come by when they need a few thousand bricks for a new room or a boundary wall. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know us because they see the stacks when they go to the bank. It gets quite hot during the peak of summer, which is actually good for drying the bricks, but it makes the work tiring for the men. We try to keep things simple and honest. If the bricks aren't ready, we tell you they aren't ready. There is no point in rushing things and ending up with bad results. It's just a local operation here in Maner. We stay busy with the local demand and try to help out our neighbors with their building needs whenever they ask for help. It is quite a basic setup.
