You can find us in Maurya Vihar Colony, which is part of the Kankarbagh and Kumhrar area. Dr. G.L Dutta Dav Public School is right in the middle of where people live. It’s a busy colony with lots of families and small businesses all around us. The school building is quite large, and we have many classrooms spread across the floors. It’s always a bit of a rush in the morning with the rickshaws and cycles bringing the kids to the gate. We have a playground, though it’s never quite big enough for all the kids at once, so they have to take turns. The staff room is always full of tea cups and notebooks. We don't go in for all those fancy educational buzzwords you hear these days. We just focus on the books and the classes. It gets pretty dusty around here because of the construction nearby, so we are constantly cleaning the floors. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We have been part of the Kankarbagh community for a long time, and many of our former students now send their own children here. It’s nice to see that continuity. We just try to keep the atmosphere friendly and manageable, even when things get a little bit hectic during exam time or during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. It’s just a normal school day for us most of the time. We aren't trying to be fancy.
