Chirst Church Diocesan School

Our school is situated right on Collectorate Road, which is a fairly central part of the town. It’s an old institution with a lot of history behind it. You can see it in the way the buildings are constructed and the layout of the grounds. We have a lot of space, which is lucky for a school so close to the main administrative area. The trees on the property have been growing for decades and provide some good shade during the hotter months. We have students from all walks of life coming through the gates every morning. The atmosphere is fairly traditional. We follow a set routine that hasn't changed much over the years because it works for us. The classrooms are simple with long benches and big chalkboards. Teachers here take their work seriously, but they also have a laugh with the students now and then. It’s a human place, not a factory. We spend our days going through the syllabus and making sure the homework is done. There’s always someone in the office to answer the phone or talk to a parent who has dropped by. Being on Collectorate Road means we are right in the middle of things, so it’s easy for people to find us. We don’t go in for big displays or modern glass walls. It’s just a sturdy, reliable school where the kids learn what they need to for their future.
