Brick Castle Infra Private Limited is located over at C-95 in the Police Colony area of Gardanibagh, Patna. We are at Mahanth Pandey's place, he is the son of Kailash Pandey. The office sits in a regular residential street where things are mostly quiet until the trucks start moving. Being in Bihar, the weather dictates a lot of what we do. When it rains, everything slows down at the sites. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to supervisors and making sure the supplies are moving. The office itself is simple. We have some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of maps and drawings pinned to the walls. It is not like those big corporate offices in the city center. We know the neighbors, and they know us. Most of the work involves coordinating people and materials for building projects. Sometimes we are out in the field more than we are in the office. It gets hectic trying to keep track of every load of sand or cement. We use a lot of paper notebooks because it is easier to scribble things down while you are standing in the dirt. At the end of the day, we just want to make sure the work is moving forward like it should. It is a lot of logistics and talking to people on the ground to make sure things get finished.
