Vidya Mandir Public Senior Secondary School

Vidya Mandir Public Senior Secondary School is located on Street Number- 2 in the Mamoon area of Pathankot. We have been a part of this community for a long time, and the building shows its age a little bit here and there. It’s a senior secondary school, so we have students of all ages coming through the doors. Mamoon is a busy spot, and the street can get quite cramped when school lets out. We have classrooms filled with old wooden desks and blackboards that have seen thousands of lessons. There isn't anything overly modern about how we do things; we just stick to the basics of teaching and making sure the syllabus is covered. The staff room is always a bit of a mess with stacks of notebooks and tea cups. We spend our mornings dealing with late arrivals and our afternoons making sure everyone leaves safely. Pathankot weather can be unpredictable, so we are always checking the roof or the windows. We don't have a PR team or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. We are just a local school in 145001 trying to help the kids in our neighborhood get an education. It’s a lot of routine and hard work, but that’s just how it is in a place like this. Most of the parents are our neighbors, so we have to be honest and direct with them about how their kids are doing.
