Modern Sandeepni School

We are located out in Mamoon, which is a part of Pathankot. The school has been here for a while. It’s a decent sized place with enough room for the kids to move about. You can hear the sounds of the town from the windows. We start the day quite early because that’s just how things work in this area. The kids come in from all over. Some walk and some come on the bus. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade when the sun is out. The classrooms are basic but they have what’s needed for the lessons. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most of the energy goes into the actual classes and making sure the homework gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just carry on with the windows open. That’s just life in Pathankot. We know the people around here and they know us. The gate is usually open for parents who need to drop something off or talk to a teacher. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have any big slogans or fancy promises. It is just a school in Mamoon where we try to teach the kids their subjects and keep them safe until their parents pick them up in the afternoon. We have been here at 145001 for a good long while now and we just keep going day by day. It’s a practical way to run things.
