Mela Devi Kalra Arya School

Our school is tucked away on Siali Road, and if you aren't looking for it, you might miss the entrance. Mela Devi Kalra Arya School has been sitting here for quite a while now. The building is simple, just plain walls and regular classrooms that have seen a lot of students over the years. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. Mostly, it’s just posters the kids made and some old wooden furniture that we keep polishing. The staff here are mostly local people who walk or take a rickshaw to work. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high, to get the rooms swept and the blackboards ready. It’s a lot of repetitive work, honestly. We check the attendance, make sure the uniforms are mostly neat, and try to get through the lessons without too many distractions. Siali Road can get a bit dusty when the trucks go by, so we are always cleaning the windows. It’s just a place where children come to learn their basics. We don't have a big fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us teachers and the principal trying to make sure the school runs smoothly and the kids have what they need for their exams. It’s a humble setup, but it’s been working for us and the families around here for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
