Angels Public School

We are situated out on Dalhousie Road in the Mamoon area of Pathankot. If you are heading out towards the hills, you will probably pass us. It’s a bit of a noisy spot because of the traffic on the main road, but once you get inside the gates, it settles down a bit. The school has been here for years, and many of us have seen the building grow and change. We have kids coming in from all over Mamoon and the nearby parts of Pathankot. It’s a typical school day most of the time—lots of running in the corridors and teachers trying to keep everyone quiet during lessons. The playground gets quite a workout during the afternoon breaks. We don't really have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day’s plans. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open all the windows to get a breeze. It’s just how things are around here. We handle the admissions and the books from the front desk, which usually has a stack of papers waiting to be signed. We’re just a local school doing what we can for the families in the neighborhood. It is a lot of noise and a lot of energy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. The morning bell is always a little loud.
