Dalhousie Public School

Even though the name says Dalhousie, we are actually located in Badhani, which is part of the Pathankot area. It is a bit of a drive from the main town, but that makes it a quieter place for a school. Dalhousie Public School has been here for years, and the buildings have that lived-in look to them. We have a lot of space out here, so the kids have plenty of room to run around during their breaks in the afternoon. The air feels a bit fresher than it does in the middle of the city. We have a mix of local students and some who come from further away in the district. Our staff is a bunch of hardworking people who have been teaching for a long time. They don't use much fancy jargon; they just explain the lessons and help the kids with their work. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but it is a solid place. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. People in Pathankot know where we are if they need us for their children's education. We keep a regular routine from Monday to Saturday. It is just about getting the kids through their exams and making sure they know how to behave themselves. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of school. We are just here doing our job in Badhani.
