Our company is Nari Bari Producer Company Limited and we are located right in Naribari. Balendra Prasad is the one who helps us stay organized and we use his place for our needs. We are just a group of farmers who live around here. We aren't doing anything out of the ordinary. We just spend our days in the fields and our evenings talking about what we need to do next. Farming in Naribari is what we have always done. We know the cycles of the seasons and we know how to work the soil. We don't have any corporate goals or mission statements. We just want to make sure we can sell what we grow for a decent price. Working as a group helps us with the buying and the selling part of the business, which can be a real headache. We aren't big on talking, we mostly just do the work. You won’t find any polished people here, just farmers with dirty boots and real stories. We help each other out when someone is having a bad year or when the rain doesn't come. That’s just part of being in a community like ours. We don't have much else to say. We are just local people in Naribari trying to make a living the old-fashioned way. It’s hard work but it’s our life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
