We’re located right on NH-48 in the village of Kadma. If you’re passing through the Tetariya area in East Champaran, you’ll probably see our small office near the Semrahablock post office. Shaambhavi Agro Producer Company Limited isn't some big city corporation with glass walls and fancy suits. It is just a group of us from around Motihari who decided to work together because farming on your own is getting harder every year. The building we use is a bit older and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves its purpose for storing what we need and keeping our records. Most days, you’ll find a couple of us sitting around out front, talking about the weather or the price of seeds. It gets really dusty when the trucks go by on the highway, but that's just life here. We don't have a lot of employees, just local people who know how to handle the crops. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we have to finish our paperwork by hand. We’ve been here for a while now, and everyone in the village knows where to find us if they have questions about their harvest. It's not a glamorous job, and there’s always something that needs fixing, like the old gate or the computer that acts up. We are just trying to keep things moving forward for the farmers in this part of Bihar. It's honest work.
