Our office is tucked away in Flat No. 2 on the ground floor of Block No. 31. We are in the Anand Vihar Apartments, which is right near the Durgapur House Annexe in the A-Zone. Durgapur is a steel town, through and through, and being part of Steel Authority Of India here feels right. The apartment itself is pretty basic. Since we are on the ground floor, it’s easy to get in and out, which is nice when we have deliveries or visitors. It’s a residential building, so it’s fairly quiet most of the time, apart from the usual sounds of the neighborhood. We’ve got our desks set up in the main rooms and a small area for files in the back. It isn't the most modern office you'll ever see, but it’s comfortable enough for us. We spend our hours tracking shipments and dealing with local coordination. There’s a bit of a garden outside the block that we look at sometimes when we need a break from the screens. Most of the people working here live nearby in the A-Zone, so we don't have long commutes. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have any fancy corporate branding on the walls, just some calendars and charts that help us keep track of our tasks. It’s a humble place, but we get a lot of work done here without any fuss. It fits the vibe of Durgapur perfectly.
