Kolma Herbal Agrotech & Foods Private Limited

Kolma Herbal Agrotech & Foods is located in Kolma village, which is part of the Doimukh area. We operate out of Smti Bamang Yaniam’s place in the RCC building. It is a local operation through and through. We started this because there are so many good herbs and plants growing around here that people do not always know what to do with. Doimukh can get quite hot and we have plenty of rain, which is great for the kind of things we grow. We are not a big food factory. Most of what we do is small-scale and handled by people from the village. We wanted to create a way to turn our local crops into something we could sell more easily. It is mostly about practical stuff like drying herbs or packing up local foods so they stay fresh for longer. We do not have any fancy marketing people or a big mission statement. We just know that the land around Kolma is good and we want to make the most of it. Usually, you will find us at Bamang Yaniam’s place talking about the latest harvest or trying to figure out a better way to dry our plants. It is just honest work by local people who want to see our village do well. We take things one day at a time and try to make sure everything we produce is something we would eat ourselves.
