Dilpal Agro Organic Producer Company Limited

Our small company is set up at Meter Kakki Riba’s place in the village of Old Dekaoyan. We call it Dilpal Agro Organic Producer Company Limited. It’s located in the Lower Siang Oyan area, which is a nice part of the state for growing all sorts of things. We aren't a big business with a lot of employees. It's mostly just a few of us and the local farmers who bring their stuff in. We started this because we wanted a way to manage our organic crops together rather than everyone doing it on their own. The office is just a regular room with some ledgers and a phone that rings quite a bit. We spend a lot of time out in the fields of Old Dekaoyan checking on how the plants are doing. It's not a polished operation. We have dirt on our shoes and we talk about the weather more than anything else. Rain is a big deal for us, and so is the sun. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just want to make sure the organic farming around here stays strong and that we can sell what we grow for a fair price.
