Glenmark Generics

We are located in Mapusa, Goa, operating out of the premises cared for by Amar R Parikar. It is a bit different working here than in a big city like Mumbai or Delhi. The pace is a little more relaxed, though we still have plenty of work to do with the generics. The office is a simple setup where we keep track of the pharmaceutical products and handle the local logistics. Mapusa is a busy town, especially on market days, so there is always something going on outside our doors. Inside, we just focus on getting the paperwork done and answering the calls that come in. We don't have a big team, so it's usually just a couple of us around the desks. The building has that old Goa charm, with thick walls that keep it relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We don't use any fancy management systems; we just talk to each other and make sure the tasks are finished by the end of the day. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do until it comes back. It’s a modest way of doing things, but it works for us here. We like being in Mapusa because it feels like a real community. We’ve been at this spot for some time and everyone around here knows what we do. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation for a small group of people in Goa who care about what they do.
