West Wood Farmer Producer Company Limited

Muppalla is where you can find us, specifically at the address 3-4. It is a small village and everyone kind of knows everyone else’s business. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of local guys trying to make the most of what we grow. The name West Wood sounded good to us, so we stuck with it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. This is just us. We spend our mornings checking on the fields and our afternoons sitting in the shade talking about how the market is moving. It’s a slow pace of life in Muppalla, but the work itself never really stops. If it’s not the planting, it’s the weeding or the harvesting. There is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky pipe or a tractor that won't start. We do our best to help each other out when someone has a bad year. That is the whole point of being a producer company, I guess. We share what we know and try to keep things moving forward. It’s not a glamorous job and the pay isn't always steady, but it is what we know how to do. We just stay focused on the land and the crops and hope for enough rain to keep the soil healthy so we can keep going next year too.
