Ujwala Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of a small place called Kothuru in the Agnigundla area of Ipuru Mandalam. Our door number is 3-56A. Guntur is known for its farming, and we are right in the thick of it. This isn't a company run by people in suits who have never stepped in a field. We are the farmers ourselves. We started this because we were tired of being told what to do by people who didn't understand our struggles. In Kothuru, everyone knows everyone. Life moves at a different pace here. We deal with the heat, the water problems, and the pests every single day. By forming this company, we can buy our supplies together and sell what we grow as a group. It makes things a bit more stable for our families. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. If you want to know about us, you just come to our address and have a tea. We’ll tell you about the chili crops or whatever else we are growing this season. Sometimes the accounts are a headache and the regulations can be confusing, but we help each other figure it out. It’s just about making a living from the land that our fathers and grandfathers worked before us. There’s no magic to it, just a lot of sweat and hoping for good rain.
