Our place is at D No 1 202 on the Main Road. We are right beside the Anjaneyaswamy Temple in A Kothapalem. You can hear the temple bells from our desks, which is nice when things get stressful. The main road is always busy with people going to and from work. We get a lot of dust from the traffic, but we don't mind much. We’re a group of farmers who decided to team up. It’s better than trying to do everything alone. We don't have any fancy titles or suits. Most of us are in our work clothes all day. We spend a lot of time discussing the temple festivals and how they affect the work schedule. The office is just a room with some tables and a lot of registers. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the piles of paper get a bit high. It’s a local operation, through and through. People stop by after visiting the temple to see what’s new or to just say hello. We don't have a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is there. Sometimes we share a meal in the back. It’s about the community here in A Kothapalem. We know the land and we know the families. It’s not corporate, it’s just us trying to help each other out. That’s the way it should be for people who live here.
