We are situated right by the Old Bus Stand Police Thana Road. It gets quite noisy here with all the buses moving in and out all day long. My family started this distribution work a while back. We spend most of our mornings checking the stock that comes in on the trucks and making sure the boxes aren't damaged. It’s a lot of lifting and counting. Usually, the shop stays open from early morning until late evening because the local retailers need their supplies at odd hours. The road outside is always dusty and crowded, especially near the police station. We keep the inventory in the back and have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the tea man from across the street stops by and we have a quick break. It isn't anything fancy, just a plain warehouse space with shelves piled high. We try to keep track of everything on paper ledgers and a small computer that acts up sometimes. Most of the people who come here are regular shopkeepers from the nearby villages who know us by name. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth around the bus stand is enough to keep us busy. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot in the summer, but it pays the bills. We just focus on getting the crates out to whoever needs them and making sure the counts are right at the end of the day.
