Down in Surajpole, you can find Bherwa Mobile Point. We are mostly busy with small repairs and selling things like chargers, screen guards, and earphones. Surajpole is a crowded area, so there is always something going on outside the shop. I spend a lot of time hunched over a desk with a magnifying glass trying to fix small circuit boards or changing cracked screens. It’s fiddly work and my eyes get tired by the end of the day. We also do mobile recharges for people who still come in for that. The shop is quite small, just enough room for a counter and some display cases for the phones and accessories. I keep a lot of spare parts in plastic bins behind me. Sometimes the internet goes down and it makes things difficult, but we manage. I’ve been at this Surajpole location for a while now. It’s not a big corporate service center. It’s just a place where you can get your phone looked at without too much fuss. I try to be honest about whether a phone can be fixed or if it’s just junk. People seem to appreciate that. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a few months. Most of my day is spent talking to people about their battery problems or why their speakers aren't working. It’s a decent way to make a living.
